Here’s a quick idea for reviewing and uncovering clothes vocabulary and practising the second conditional.
Brainstorm as many different types of clothes as possible starting with the head and working down. Write all this vocabulary on the board in columns labelled Head / Top / Bottom / Hands and Feet.
You could use our clothes themed collaborative crossword as an introduction to the topic.
Then ask the class, what would you wear if you were going jogging / to a wedding /on a mountain hike / to family dinner, etc.
Try to encourage students to use full sentences and not just give a list of vocabulary in response.
Put students in pairs and have them ask each other similar questions.
